Enquira

Another UK specific if you don't mind me dumping these on you.

Enquira.co.uk - Legal

I suppose there is a lesson to be learnt even if you are not from the UK.  Local directories and directory which are topic specific are great way to drive customers to your websites.  They would under normal circumstances be one of the first ports of call to find a business.

Functionality wise it is quite basic and the style of the website rather formal.  It has the basic non-web based contact details which most businesses would want for their business.

There is also the Google Map widget which is very common among directories with a bit RED marks the spot where your business can be found.

One thing however which I have found with alot of these directories is that the map location is not always correct so if the software/website allows for it, make sure you correct it or you could be sending your potential customers to a random spot.

Overall 5/10 for Enquira is hardly the lowest, but neither is it anywhere near the nine out of ten which I gave to BrownBook. So there is plenty of scope for them to catch up.
